Craft: Tanchoi, Minakari, and Jaaldar. Banarasi Brocade is a long-standing tradition of crafting intricate gold designs that have become a part of the sari culture all over the country. This technique helps expert artisans create timeless designs by weaving rich patterns with a golden zari. They are generally made of layers consisting of weft yarn and a lot of deliberate interludes that are added between the warps to produce intertwined patterns. The metallic orientation appears pleasing and makes the sari glow with a sparkling luster.
