Craft: Buttedar, Kadiyal, Minakari, Sona Rupa, and Kadhua or kadwa. The Kadiyal technique is practiced to accomplish a variety of color combinations in regards to the base and border. The distinctly contrasting borders may take up to 3 times more effort/time than any normal process due to the precise dyeing methods and three shuttles to make changes in the weft. Kadiyal is an art that transcends generations creating an aesthetic aura around the wearer.
